1. Who we are
Lansky Center Solutions Inc. (“LCS”, “we”, “us”) operates the LCS operations platform at lcs-tech.ca and the LCS Connect apps for iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Our Privacy Officer is the person in charge of protecting personal information. You can reach them at info@lanskycentersolutions.com.
2. What this policy covers
The LCS platform is a private workplace tool. Accounts are created by LCS for its staff, field technicians and contractors; there is no public sign-up. This policy covers information processed through the website, the LCS Connect apps, and links we send (for example interview meeting links, e-signature links and online forms). It does not cover other companies’ websites or apps, even if we link to them.
3. Information we collect

| Messages & files | Chat messages, voice messages, photos, videos and files you share, read receipts, reactions | You and the people you talk to |
| Calls & meetings | Call times, participants and duration; audio, video and screen sharing are transmitted live and are not stored unless someone starts a call recording, which participants are shown | You and other participants |

| Support | What you tell us when you contact support | You |
4. What we don’t collect
- We do not track your device’s location. Addresses come from work orders and mileage entries, not GPS.
- We do not use advertising, ad identifiers or third-party analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not access your contacts, call history or SMS messages on your phone.
5. How we use information
- To provide the platform: sign-in, messaging, calls, scheduling, work orders, tasks, documents and the apps.
- To send notifications you need, such as new messages, incoming calls, assignments and reminders.
- To run payroll, expenses, payouts and tax documents for staff and technicians.
- To keep the service secure: preventing fraud and abuse, protecting accounts, and investigating incidents through audit logs.
- To provide support and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We only use information for these purposes, or for a new purpose if you consent or the law allows it.
6. Consent and legal bases
We process personal information to provide the service you use for your work, to manage the working relationship, with your consent (for example device permissions and optional features), to meet our legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. You can withdraw consent for optional processing at any time; some features may stop working as a result.
7. Who we share it with
Inside LCS, people see information only when their role requires it. For example, payroll staff see paystubs and other technicians do not. We share information with these service providers, only to run the service:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Our hosting provider | Servers that store and run the platform |
| Apple Push Notification service, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging | Delivering notifications to iPhone and Android devices (notification content and a device token) |
| Our email provider | Sending system emails such as sign-in alerts and document requests |
| Quo (business phone) | Business calls and text messages made through LCS phone numbers |
| OpenStreetMap services | Looking up addresses and driving distances for mileage |
| Google Fonts, jsDelivr | Delivering fonts and icons; these see your IP address when pages load |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. In that case it stays protected by this policy.
8. Where it is stored
Information is stored on servers operated for LCS. Some of the service providers above, including Apple and Google for notifications, process information outside your province or country, for example in the United States. When information leaves Québec or Canada, we first assess the protection it will receive and use contracts and safeguards to protect it.
9. How long we keep it
- Account information: while you have an account, then deleted or anonymized after your account is closed, except as listed below.
- Messages and files: while the conversation exists. If you delete your account, messages you sent in shared conversations may remain visible to the other participants, attributed to a former user.
- Payroll, tax and accounting records: as long as tax and employment laws require, usually 6 years after the end of the year they relate to.
- Security and audit logs: as long as needed to protect the service and investigate incidents.
- Backups: copies in backups are deleted when those backups are removed.
10. How we protect it
- All traffic uses HTTPS encryption. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and payout details are stored encrypted.
- Two-factor sign-in, automatic sign-out when idle, and lockout after repeated failed attempts.
- Role-based access, so people see only what their job needs, plus an audit log of sensitive actions.
- Calls are encrypted in transit.
No system is perfectly secure. If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and Canada’s PIPEDA, you can:
- ask to see the personal information we hold about you and get a copy, including in a structured, commonly used format;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information or your account. See how to delete your account;
- withdraw consent and change notification and device permissions;
- complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Email info@lanskycentersolutions.com. We reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.
12. App permissions
The LCS Connect apps ask for permissions only when you use the feature that needs them. You can change them at any time in your device settings.
- Camera and microphone: for calls, video, photos and voice messages you choose to send.
- Photos and files: to attach and save the items you pick.
- Notifications: for messages, incoming calls and alerts.
- Bluetooth: to use Bluetooth headsets during calls (Android).
- Screen recording (desktop): only when you share your screen in a call.
13. Cookies
We use only cookies that the service needs: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a “stay signed in” cookie for the apps, and a preference for the mobile layout. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
14. Children
The platform is for workplace use by adults. It is not intended for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you in the platform or by email if the changes are significant.
